With Card Manager you can: backup the contents of Smart Media cards used with the ZOOM PS-02, edit files, export to WAVE and SMF (standard MIDI) files, and restore edited files to Smart Media cards.
Card Manager also lets you do the following:


・Convert PS-02 recorded takes to WAVE files.
・Convert and export WAVE files to PS-02 audio data (takes).
・Convert rhythm sequence data created on the PS-02 to SMF (standard MIDI) files.
・Replace your drum and bass (PCM) data file (SOUNDS.SYN) with another.
・Replace your rhythm sequence data file (SONGS.PTS) with another.


Master these functions and make the most of your PS-02.

If you receive an error message "CRDERR" on the PS-02 when using other smart media devices, you can force format SmartMedia for use in the PS-02 by following these instructions:

1. With the power on the PS-02 turned off, insert the SmartMedia you wish to format into the card slot.
2. While holding down the REC (recording) and STORE keys, turn on the power.
3. When the word "FORMAT" is displayed, release the keys and then press the STORE key again.
4. The formatting is completed when the word "DONE" is displayed. Turn the power OFF and eject the Smart Media

*You need to copy the contents of "SYSTEM DATA file set" to force formatted SmartMedia. You can use SmartMedia Reader/Writer to copy the files.
**Creating a Work SmartMedia" described in Operation Manual page 75, copies SYSTEM DATA to force formatted card.
