MRS-802/802CD The issue about "All Initialize" in HDD maintenance function
We confirmed the following cases in some of MRS-802/MRS-802CD.

Case

When executed "All Initialize" command in the HDD maintenance function (see page 137 of operation manual), it is going wrong in some of parameter of mixer / effect patches or it makes no sound on drum kit. |
If you have the target product, please do not execute "All Initialize" command.
For customer who has already the above case and need the modification, please follow the procedure below.
For MRS-802CD user
Please perform HDD maintenance using the supplied CD-ROM. (See page 139 of operation manual)
*After your performance, please do not execute "All Initialize" command.

For MRS-802 user with UIB-01/02
1. Be in the online state, connecting the MRS-802 and computer with a USB cable.
2. Insert the supplied CD-ROM to CD-ROM/R/RW drive of computer.
3. Open the folder "USRDATA" in the supplied CD-ROM and copy "PRJINIT" and "SOUNDS" in it.
<In case you cannot find "SOUNDS" folder>
We confirmed error on the supplied CD-ROM in some of production lot.

4. Open "MRSSYS" folder of the volume "MRS-FAC", recognized as local disc and paste "PRJINIT" and "SOUNDS" being copied in procedure number 3.
5. Cancel the on-line state between the MRS-802 and computer.
6. Please execute "Factory Initialize" command. (See pages 137 and 138 of operation manual)
After that, new project must be created in normal setup.
*As "MRS-FAC" drive cannot be recognized at Mac OS9, you cannot recover the problem with the above procedure. Please contact our local distributor for the modification. All distributors are listed up on the CONTACT page.
