Please clean up its metallic contact area by soft and dry cloth. Most of trouble will be solved. If you want to use the Smart Media that was used by any Digital Camera or other electric devise, please format it by 707II/708.

Purpose of Smart Media is to expand memory for sampler function and to save patch libraries. Usable Smart Media size is 16MB to 128 MB.

No. Sound data is recorded by original format on the Smart Media. So you can not use it for the computer application software. Only saving files as library to the computer is possible. When you use PS-02 or MRS-4, you are able to convert recorded data to WAV/AIFF format.

No. You cannot use WAV/AIFF data for 707II/708II sampler function. If you need to use, please record its audio signal through input jack, as normal sampling method for Guitar/Bass sound.

The SmartMedia card has a write-protect sticker attached. Remove the sticker and try again.

Because the sampler mode makes intensive use of DSP resources, the effects of the MOD and REV modules cannot be used at the same time. These modules are therefore temporarily disabled when using the sampler function.
