As all power of the signal processor should be concentrated to keep highest quality of each effect, you cannot use two or more effects simultaneously. But exceptionally, some of popular combination, for example Delay + Reverb, is programmed and possible to choose.

The Mic can be connected directly to "Mic In" on the front panel. When musical instruments (keyboard etc.) are also connected to the line input in rear panel, VOCODER effect can be played.

Input/Output level is +4dBm well matching to mixer etc. Also, it is possible to use for send/return terminal of guitar amplifier.

Concerning the digital equipments, noise may be standing out to the ear when the input level is not suitable. Please make input level proper watching the blink of input level indicator. Proper level is that indicator becomes red, when the signal level is maximum.

Guitar cannot be connected directly, since input impedance does not match. Please connect guitar through any equipment witch has low output impedance, like guitar effects processor.
SEND/RETURN of guitar amplifier can be connected directly.

It is the effect used when "Mix down" to stereo track from multi track, or mastering the stereo track finally. Using multi-bank compressor/equalizer, the stereo track can be more powerful or comfortable for home use/portable audio equipment. You can make impressive sound quality as commercial CD.

RFX-2000 is supporting full MIDI function, in MIDI IN/OUT/THRU. But RFX-1000 does not correspond.

8 extra effects that cannot choose by RFX2000 itself, and the library/backup function that can control effect data on PC, will be enabled. Moreover, all parameters can be edited graphically in detail.
The effect prepared only for high-end models, such as 31 band equalizer, custom-made reverb, 20 tap delay, and 3 band compressor, are contained in extra effects.

Both Windows and Macintosh version are prepared. You need Windows 95/98 (Pentium 166MHz or later, or Mac OS later than System 7.5.3 or Mac Os 8.0. In case of Macintosh, you need OMS.

It is possible, however installer (setup.exe) contained in supplied CD-ROM is not working. So please install RFX2000ED by following method.
1)Display all contents of supplied CD-ROM.
2)One file "setup.exe" and two folders "english" and "japanese" are available.
3)Copy "english" folder to any drive/folder.
4)Re-name it to "RFX2000ED".
5)Open this folder and make shortcut of "RFX2000ED.exe" on the desktop.
6)Double Click this shortcut and then "RFX2000ED" starts.
Note: Please refer Windows help how to re-name or how to make shortcut.

Yes, by using the separately available foot switch FS01. Connect the FS01 to the BYPASS jack on the rear panel of the unit with a 1/4" standard phone plug cable.
