Yes. However, the S2t/C5.1t must also be connected while using the other audio interface. If the S2t/C5.1t is not connected, the effect output of the ZFX Plug-in will be disabled by the copy protect feature.

When you connect the S2t/C5.1t to the computer, all audio signals of the computer will be routed through the S2t/C5.1t. You must therefore connect playback systems such as speakers and headphones to the outputs of the S2t/C5.1t. |

The USB audio interface functions and performance are the same, but the C5.1t adds dedicated controller capability for the ZFX Plug-in. It has an expression pedal and five function switches which allow real-time control of effects including volume, wah, and pitch shift. Effects on/off switching and patch changes as well as other functions are also possible.
* With the S2t, the above functions can be realized by connecting an optional expression pedal (FP02) or foot switch (FS01). |

Yes, this is possible. However, there will be limitations on the number of ZFX Plug-in instances that can be used simultaneously, depending on CPU clock speed, installed memory, and other performance aspects of the computer. |

The effect algorithms are designed for a line connection. Therefore good sound will normally not be obtained when using a guitar amplifier on the output side. You should use headphones or a conventional audio playback system. |

Yes, this is possible. By placing multiple amp modules in the effects area, you can make use of multiple amplifiers. However, there will be limitations on the number of amplifiers that can be used simultaneously, depending on the performance and usage environment of the computer. |

Because the computer has to handle both the ZFX Plug-in and the DAW software application processing tasks, operation will be slower than when using the ZFX Plug-in on its own. |

If other applications such as email software, web browsers, anti-virus software etc. are running, shut down any applications that are not needed. By keeping the window size of the ZFX Plug-in small, you can limit the graphics processing load of the computer. Especially if multiple ZFX Plug-in instances have been started from the DAW software application, minimize any windows that are currently not being used for editing. The ZFX Plug-in window size can be changed by clicking on the [HORIZONTAL FRAME] button and [VERTICAL FRAME] button in the signal control area. |

By setting the PATCH LEVEL parameter for each patch, you can keep the volume to the same level when switching patches. Use the [PATCH LEVEL] knob in the signal control area to set a suitable parameter value. |

This kind of noise may occur due to compatibility issues with the USB host controller. In such a case, you should use the USB Device Updater to change the USB device version of the S2t/C5.1t to the "LE Version". This reduces the load during data transfer by limiting the bit rate of the USB audio interface section to 16 bit. This has been found to eliminate the noise with almost all USB host controllers.
* You can download the latest version of the USB Device Updater from the DOWNLOAD page.

This kind of intermittent noise may occur when the latency setting is not appropriate for the computer. Try adjusting the latency setting for the audio driver using the following steps.
1. Open the Control Panel from the Windows Start menu.
2. Double-click on the "ZOOM S2t C5.1t Audio" icon to open the settings window for the driver.
3. Go to the "ASIO Settings" page and adjust the "Latency" slider to increase the setting to a value where the noise does not occur when you play your instrument.
4. When you have found a suitable setting, click the "Reset/Apply" button on the ""ZOOM S2t C5.1t" page to apply the changed setting to the audio driver.
In some cases, this kind of noise may occur due to compatibility issues with the USB host controller. If the above steps do not provide a solution, you should use the USB Device Updater to change the USB device version of the S2t/C5.1t to the "LE Version". This reduces the load during data transfer by limiting the bit rate of the USB audio interface section to 16 bit. This has been found to eliminate the noise with almost all USB host controllers.
